What we stock
UPS units wear out in predictable places. Fans run around the clock and slow down, and the capacitors that smooth the power age with heat. Most of what we quote is those two, plus the control, interface, and network cards that fail less often but take the whole unit down when they do.
A fan that fits one model of UPS usually does not fit another, so we quote from the part number on the label and not from a general description. Every quote states the condition of the part. If a part has to match a serial number range, ask us before you order.
What to send
- Part number
- The number printed on the part. If it has worn off, send the make, model, and serial number of the UPS.
- Unit
- Make, model, and kVA rating from the nameplate.
- Photos
- A clear photo of the part and the unit label is worth more than a description.
- Quantity
- Per line. Sets of fans or capacitors are quoted together.
- Condition
- New, used, or either.
